I spent a lot of the time in the garden. And he comes out and looks how his bamboo is growing.
Well, yes and no. In a way if I’ve missed something, I’ve missed that. Oh, we played tennis or oh, we were in swimming. Oh, every Sunday we went for a long walk. But then the times that we had three days together and wandered around a strange city or we wandered along a strange beach are so precious. If we’ve done a lot of it they would just become part of the whole fabric of the home. Now they sort of stand out. I want to say bright colors, but they aren’t bright. They are beautiful colors, but they aren’t bright. They’re warm, warm colors. And now quite often we cook together
May Brenner was married to Sydney Brenner from December 1952 until her death in January 2010. She was engaged in doing a Ph.D. in Psychology in London.
