An additional postdoc office space, two conference rooms, and collaboration space in the Marks Annex were completed in July of 2020. The Marks neuroscience building is the site of many courses at CSHL each summer. Cognitive and systems neuroscientists work in this laboratory building to understand the mechanisms of cognition in higher brain function, and how they are impaired in neurological disease. These scientists have developed a powerful experimental system in rodents to study processes such as decision making, attention, and working memory.
