The instructional and shared space on the first floor included the Starr Foundation Teaching Laboratory allowing for two-photon imaging, the Martha Farish Gerry Seminar room, teaching and computer offices, a shared tissue culture room, a cold room, a wet lab, and a molecular biology lab.
