The artistic focal point of the Marks Laboratory is a Dale Chihuly glass chandelier entitled "Twisting Dendrites." The piece was ordered and donated to the lab by James and Elizabeth Watson. The art arrived in pieces, and was assembled and hung in the vaulted-ceiling, sunlit stairwell. Chihuly's work is in over 160 world-wide museum collections.
