Williams House was home to Dr. Lincoln Stein’s biological software laboratory. Dr. Stein’s lab developed databases, data analysis tools, and user interfaces to organize, manage, and visualize the vast body of information generated by biologists. Dr. Stein joined CSHL in 1998 and maintained his relationship with CSHL as a professor until 2004. He is currently at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.
