The new and renovated laboratories arrived just in time to reinstate the plant research course “Molecular Biology of Plants” taught by John Bedbrook and Fred Ausubel. As reported in the dedication booklet, plant courses had been phased out at CSHL in 1939 “because the subject was somewhat in advance of its time.” The course description and photo shown here were included in the 1982 CSHL Annual Report.
