David Tuveson, M.D., Ph.D. was recruited and appointed Professor and Deputy Director of the CSHL Cancer Center. At this juncture, he moved into the Yellow House.

In 2016, Professor Tuveson was named the new Director of the CSHL Cancer Center, transitioning into the role that President Stillman held for 25 years. In the 2017 CSHL Annual Report, it is written that David Tuveson's team used pancreatic organoid technology and the discovery of varieties of CAFs to make more effective treatments for pancreatic cancer.
