The Woodbury Genome Research center was the Laboratory's first building away from the main campus. It started as home to 120 employees, including Jim Hope, leading his Food Services Department. Great efforts are made to keep these employees connected to the main campus. The Facilities department, with oversight from Centerbrook Architects and Fortunato Sons, successfully planned, and executed the project.
