In 1970, the Sheep Shed was reconfigured for mouse generation used to produce monoclonal antibodies and became known as the “Mouse House.” The Mouse House was used as a lab for Susan Hockfield and Ronald McKay to study how nerve cells link up together. This is a 1983 photograph of the Ron McKay Lab group: Ron McKay, K. Fredricksen, A. Hishinama, Susan Hockfield and E. Waldvogel.
