Between 1972 and 1975, Charles Sammis Robertson donated the assembled estate of the Robertson and the Sammis families located along Banbury Lane in Lloyd Harbor.

The Banbury Center was built on this 55-acre estate on the north shore of Long Island. The estate’s seven-car garage was converted into a conference room and named The Meeting House.
