The celebration of the Mary D. Lindsay Child Care Center occurred on June 21, 1997. Recognition and appreciation were presented to Mary Lindsay and the Child Care Capital Campaign Committee by Susan Cooper, then Director of Public Affairs and Development. Words were offered by Laboratory President James Watson and CSHL Director Bruce Stillman. Balloons and children charmingly topped off the affair.
