The Page Motel was named in honor of Arthur W. Page, a Long Island Biological Association board member until 1951, when he completed 25 years of service. In February of 1924, he was elected as an officer of LIBA. Mr. A. Page, along with Dr. V. Bush, would later combine and coordinate the activities and programs of the Department of Genetics and the Biological Laboratory, tremendously strengthening the position and the future of both.
