CSHL partnered with the City University of New York (CUNY) to open the DNA Learning Center NYC (DNALC NYC) at the New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn on September 24, 2021. It is an 18,000-square-foot facility that will serve 30,000 New York City middle- and high-school students each year, focusing on engaging more underrepresented communities. It is currently the largest of thirteen CSHL DNALC facilities in the United States. Two of the DNALC NYC classrooms are dedicated to college-level research courses for City Tech students.
