Rosalind Franklin, like Maurice Wilkins, worked at Kings College, London. Franklin made x-ray diffraction images of DNA of unprecedented high quality. Her data revealed that DNA was most likely to have a helical structure and played a key role in Watson and Crick’s development of the DNA double helix.
