Exhibits: Carnegie Institution of Washington Science at Cold Spring Harbor, the Age of Genetics, 1904-1972 at the Szybalski Room

To commemorate the expansion and renovation of the Carnegie Building in May 2010, several exhibits of materials from the CSHL Archives were installed in the building. In recognition of National DNA Day, we’d like to draw your attention to the two exhibits currently on display in the Szybalski Room, illustrating the history of genetics research at Cold Spring Harbor, including the work of the Carnegie Institution of Washington from 1904-1972. The Szybalski Room is open Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and other times by appointment.
