Browse the Early Publications of the Lab
Published by Jay Datema March 3rd, 2006 in Endnote, Publications DatabaseThe library is pleased to annouce that a representative sample of early CSHL publications from 1902-c.1960 is available as a shared Endnote library.
It’s available on the Community Drive under Library–>CSHL Early Publications Database.
This database is useful for researchers who may be interested in early strains of research done here, from its days as the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences to the Carnegie Institution of Washington Genetics Research Office.
It’s easy to link from Endnote to Find It! to see the location of the document online, which is only almost half the time. Additionally, many of the articles are available in print from journals the library has collected or subscribes to, especially through JSTOR.
Here’s one example:
Vries, H. d. (1904). “The evidence of evolution.” Science 20(508): 395-401.

Linda Swanson did a wonderful job of enabling access to these publications.
We look forward to your comments.
