The Library is pleased to announce
from 1969 to the present
the online version of Biological Abstracts and Biological Abstracts/RRM

BIOSIS Previews is searchable within the familiar Web of Science interface
To perform a search:
Quick Search: select the timespan you want (defaults to all years), enter topic terms in the quick search textbox (search operators AND, OR, NOT, SAME and wildcards *, ?, $ can be used), click Go
General Search: search for records by topic, author name,article title, author address, meeting information, and more
Advanced Search: search for records by using field tags and set combinations
Saved Search History: can open saved search to open a previously saved search history
- Biosis comprehensively indexes information in the life sciences
- covers biomedicine, biology, biological research, medical research, botany, ecology, zoology, and biochemistry.
- updated weekly with 600,000 records added yearly
- covers journal articles from over 6,000 international serials and meeting and conference reports containing 165,000 documents
- includes books with detailed information on their contents and book reviews
- includes patents that are searchable by date granted and US patent number
- contains over 15 million records dating back to 1969
