New Interface for Library Home Page
Published by Ellen Brenner August 16th, 2005 in SFXThe Library is pleased to announce that we have a new interface for our Library Home Page. Navigating through the library’s resources should now be very easy, and finding a journal title, database, or e-book should be fast and direct.
Note some of our new features!
A-Z found at the end of the last column is an alphabetical list of information topics regarding the Library and Archives. This should eliminate hit and miss lengthy searching for a specific topic or information need.
Find It!@CSHL is a new library service which links database citations to full-text articles, if available, and also to other related supportive options that are available at the CSHL library, such as our library catalog, journal holding list, an interlibrary loan form, an EndNote bibliography, and even to Google Scholar to find more information. Read our explanation of our new linking feature and how it will help you get your materials faster!
Citation Linker is a quick way to locate a specific article or journal even when you only know just bits and pieces of the bibliographic information. Just click the citation linker found at the end of the first column and fill out as much information as you have. Then click the “Find It” button and you will retrieve a full citation of the item and be able to see if the library owns it with a choice to link to WebCat, the Library catalog. If not, you can submit a form to request it on InterLibrary Loan.
